liking versus skills

as i have mentioned earlier it very important to know what you like and then make career choices according to it ,

but then you like a lot of things like playing video games or dressing up now these things can land you up great careers like you could become a video game designer if that is you really want to do, go all the way and convert your liking for a thing into a skill set which helps you get a job a career,

so first step to know what you like to do

then follow up the best choices in regard to that

and convert that liking into a skill set

which makes you employable

the crucial difference is to know what you like to do can it be converted into a skill .

there is a difference between liking to do something and skills which help you support yourself in form of work .

So u didnt get admission COOL

Cant blame you if you didnt get admission i can understand the cut offs dont mention 90% for honours courses youve got be serious a serious geek get in and come on after all you are a normal person ,u gotta have time for STUFF and simply cant suck up books ,

cool dont worry in a way its good opportunity for you to look up other options and specially courses perhaps that are to your liking the only thing is youd have work much harder now if you really want to make something of your life and hit a gear up otherwise you will land up in a job after college and drift through a career,

even now its not late if you didnt get in a decent college its an opportunity it is a wake up call to you get yourself in some order or you wont get a decent job if just let this phase of life just pass as your school passed and then can sit and blame the competition etc ,


so dont fret or feel let down if didnt land up anywhere get up take a little step and get moving look for option which you think best suit you

let me tell you now there is a lot opportuity for those willing to take it so get on because you perhaps more potential than those who got in the problem you havent found your focus in the meantime till you find your focus do something meaningful towards your career ,

Each year around this time June July the admission fever starts the culmination of all those years of studies compressed in the shape of marks , the frenzy for forms applications etc to get in a proper college which will award a goverment recognised degree and to an extent will secure your future or will give better career prospects ,

yes getting into a good college helps and stephens tag opens a lot of doors but in the end it is your talent your personal calibre that is the most important, when you go for job the people hiring you are interested in how good you really are besides the degrees qualification,

so the important thing for you above all is to find out what is it you like to do and if you could make a career out of it,

i know at this stage straight out of school you really dont have a clear cut clue you like to do so many things and you are full of energy enthusiasm and can do anything spirit ,

its fine you do a course join a institution and atleast have something in hand but always remember you must try and find out what is it you are good at and try and make it your career because if love the thing you do you will truly find in it sucess,money,fame etc most of all satisfaction .

despite my saying find out what you like to do most will not know what you like to do ,there is no reason to worry then go with the flow try and make decent choices according to circumstances and whatever you do focus and try and excel rest all things will fall in place .

the punk who bought a ferrari is a story of a guy i knew few years back he was considered weird by students and was at the receiving end of teachers the problem with him was he dressed in a way that never confirmed coventional dressing up and even his school uniform had sometimes a extra buttons or a zip or some or the other touch of alteration here or there in those times you called such people punks ,
he came from a modest background father was in the goverment and mother a teacher and had very conservative outlook in regards careers and made him sit for the medical and he cleared it and after school joined medical college much against his wishes ,

then once during a college festival he was organising a fashion show he realized this what he wanted to do design clothes he quit medical college, worked with a designer and got an opportunity to go abroad ,the kinda of stuff he wanted to do was in demand and sold well and from there on he never looked back and what more he has done so well the punk bought a Ferrari.

the thing is to really try and find out what you really like to do and if you do not which is a large section no need to worry just try and make best choices focus , work hard and excel at it .
